Santa Fe Wind & Solar is proud to announce it is now offering solar power solutions from Westinghouse, one of the leading manufacturers in reliable and innovative solar power panels.
Westinghouse’s AC Solar Panels are made of advanced polycrystalline solar cell technology, which provides 5 to 25 percent more energy production than other solar panels. They feature an innovative design which provides safe AC power while protecting if from the corrosive effect of the sun, wind and rain. A sleek design requiring 80 percent fewer parts to install and maintain rounds out the AC Solar Panel from Westinghouse.
Backed by the stability of the century old Westinghouse name, the AC Solar Panel comes with a 25-year warranty.
Enphase Microinverter & Monitoring System
When it comes to converting the energy captured by your solar panels into useable energy, Santa Fe uses the Enphase Energy Microinverter System. This system consists of three parts that not only converts your energy, but also monitors your output and creates an analysis that you can access from any computer connected to the Internet.
The Enphase system employs simplicity and durability when it comes to their microinverter. It attaches to the underside of each of your solar panels to convert the DC power to grid-compliant AC power.
While the microinverter is converting the power to use in your home, the Envoy communication system is constantly monitoring each of the panels to determine the amount of energy that is being produced. This data is collected and can be used in a variety of ways.
The Enphase system that Santa Fe recommends includes the Enlighten monitoring system. With just a simple outlet and ethernet cable, the Enlighten system is truly plug and play and allows you to monitor your energy production in real-time. With easy to understand energy equivalents, current and lifetime performance metrics, and at-the-moment module status, the system shows you the tangible results of installing a photovoltaic energy system. The system can also be configured to be accessible from your mobile device.
